James E. Barnes, M.D., Medical Director of Medical-Legal Review, Inc. is a board certified neurosurgeon practicing at the Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio where he is Medical Director of the Neuroscience Center and is in charge of the resident training program in neurosurgery

He is past president of the Columbus Academy of Medicine and the Ohio State Neurosurgical Society. Dr. Barnes is a clinical professor in neurosurgery at The Ohio State University College of Medicine.
